Large Edwardian Silver Bell Ink well
A large heavy quality Edwardian period solid silver bell ink well with original glass liner, hallmarked Birmingham 1903. Cast silver handle to the top aiding the opening of the hinged top, flared base with beaded rim. Opens to reveal polished interior with the original removeable glass ink well. Ebonised base. Hallmark to the side and the interior of the lid. Bears the makers mark for Henry Matthews. Presented in superb condition with a deep shine. Measures 4.75" at the base x 5.5" high.
