A large early example of Moorcrofts 'Slipper Orchid' design bottle vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1930. Bulbous base with long neck an slightly flared rim to the top. The body of the vase decorat...ed with a continuous band of tube lined slipper orchids and leaves. Superbly painted in deep pinks, blues yellows and reds set against a soft green ground with washes of blue. The base impressed with H.M Potter to the Queen mark and oversigned with William Moorcrofts signature. Presented in perfect unrestored condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 12" high x 7" maximum width. Stock number CS210.
