Large Art Nouveau Brass and Cut Crystal Ink Stand
A large antique Art Nouveau brass double ink well with original cut crystal ink wells c.1890. Oblong base with upturned rim and tray style handles to the sides with fretwork decoration. Scalloped rims... forming the recesses to hold the wells. Original heavy cut crystal ink wells with cast hinged lids. Sat on bun feet with rivets showing through to the top in typical Art Nouveau style. Deep polish, small amount of pitting to the surface, now well polished in. Measures 3.5" high x 13.5" wide x 5.5" deep. Stock number 34198.
