Large Antique Carved Oak and Silver Plate Loving Cup
A large and impressive Victorian carved oak loving cup with ivy leaf carved relief and silver plated mounts, C.1885. Silver plated interior folding over to form a scalloped rim. Matching scalloped band below the carved centre supporting the handles. Mounted on a decorative silver plated foot. Superb deep carving to the golden English oak body in the form of Atlantic ivy. Matching oak carved insets to the handles. Superb original condition with a deep shine and good colour. Bears the makers mark for Harrison Brothers and Howson to the foot. Measures 11" wide including the handles. Diameter at ...the rim 5.5" x 8" high. Stock number 34142.
