Large 1920's Phillip's Floor Standing Library Globe
A difficult to find 1920`s Phillips, London floor standing library globe on turned ebonised foot. Standing nearly 4` high the tuned ebonised timber foot with wide plinth to the base and vase shaped column above. Cast brass mount holding the brass axis set to the side, degrees engraved to the face. 19" plaster globe with makers label bearing the name for George Phillips & Son`s London. revolving on the stand. The globe in colourful condition with a good patina, no breaks or damage to the floor stand. Presented in superb original condition. Measures 45" high x 20" maximum diameter. The base di...ameter is 14". Stock number 38065.
