A large Victorian oak cased aneroid ship's barometer with carved rope twist design c.1880. The turned solid oak case with carved rope twist surround. Porcelain dial with weather predictions around the outer edge, polished brass bezel with inset bevelled edge glass and central reading marker sat over the top. Presented in excellent condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 11" diameter x 3" deep x 12" high including brass hanging loop. Stock number 41412.
