A rare and very collectable Victorian silver 'Just a thimble Full' thimble shot measure, hallmarked London 1878. Made in the form of an oversized thimble with engine turned finish to the lower half. Broad band below the rim with bold risen lettering reading just a thimble full, shield set to the centre. Bears the makers mark for Richard Loewe Henry. A most unusual item, presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.25" high x 1.25" diameter at the rim. Stock number 37709.
