Impressive Victorian Rosewood Inlaid Clock on Stand
A superb mid Victorian rosewood inlaid clock on stand c.1880. Hexagonal shaped top with gilt engine turned convex dial to the Swiss 8 Day movement. Brass bezel surround and convex glass. Retailed by Chandler of Leamington. Fruitwood and brass segmented inlay to the surround with brass carry handles to the sides and top. The stand profusely decorated in fruitwood with warriors with a matching shaped inlaid panel above. Unusual long drawer to the right hand side of the base. Very impressive. Presented in immaculate condition, in full working order. Measures 14" wide x 6" deep x 21.5" high. Stock... no. 37668.
