An Impressive Mid Victorian oil on canvas attributed to highly regarded artist, George William Horlor*(w.1849-1890). 'Sheep in moorland landscape'.c.1875. In a good timber gilt swept frame. Measures 44" x 33" x 3"deep, canvas measures 35" x 23". Stock no.31045. * George William Horlor Born 1823-1891. Specialised in animal and sporting life paintings. Originally from Cheltenham. He exhibited in the Royal Academy in London regularly from1849-1890.
