Impressive Moorcroft Cornflower Vase
An impressive Moorcroft 'Cornflower' design vase with Macintyre factory mark and William Moorcrofts signature c.1905. The bulbous base with long neck above and bulbous top below the rim. The vase decorated four continuous panels of stylized tube lined cornflowers set on an ochre ground. Superbly painted with a lightly washed blue, the flowers in soft golden yellows and reds with green foliage. Bears the Macintyre factory mark along with William Moorcrofts signature in green. Presented in immaculate condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 12" high x 5" maximum width. Stock number 3869...5.
