Impressive Late Victorian Standard Lamp
An impressive and superbly carved late Victorian solid mahogany country house lamp standard, fully rewired ready for use c.1900. The tripod foot with carved decoration to the sides with matching carved claw feet set to the corners. The turned and carved column above with three carved knuckles and acanthus leaf design decoration to the column sections. Wide turned top section with brass switched lamp holder to the top. Superb colour and polish, very sturdy; presented in immaculate condition ready for use. Measures 4' 11" high x 20" diameter at the foot. Stock number ...39384.
