Impressive Large Pair of Moorcroft Pomegranate Vases
An impressive matching pair of early unusual shaped Moorcroft pomegranate pattern vases c.1914. Bulbous bases with ring collar below the tall wide trumpet shaped tops. The base section decorated with ...a continuous band of tube lined pomegranates with open seeded fruits and leaf foliage, matching decoration to the outside of the neck. Decorated with a band of berries in leaf foliage to the inside of the rim, the background in typical washed dark blue. Each vase with matching Moorcroft, Burslem England impressions and full William Moorcroft signatures in green. Both presented in immaculate condition with no damage or repairs. Each measures 12.5" high x 6.5" diameter at the widest point. Stock number 37413.
