Impressive Early Moorcroft Pomegranate Vase
An impressive large Moorcroft pomegranate pattern vase C.1914. Baluster shape with rolled neck and flared base. Well decorated with a wide band of pomegranates with leaves and berries and open fruit. Deep blue ground with rich coloured decoration. The base impressed and signed in full by William Moorcroft indicating a date of manufacture C.1914-15. Superb deep glaze, presented in immaculate condition with no damage or repairs. Measures 12.75" high x 7" maximum diameter. Stock number 36339.
