Impressive Antique Victorian Carved Oak Banjo Barometer
An impressive antique Victorian period solid carved oak cased banjo barometer with decorative porcelain dial and aneroid movement C.1880. Decorative carved and fretted case with carved swags to the sides and dental moulding below the thermometer box. Decorative porcelain dial to the aneroid movement set behind bevel edge glass with a brass bezel and centre reading marker. Matching scale to the thermometer with original mercury action thermometer. Superb condition with a deep shine and good colour, full working order. Measures 37" long x 12" maximum width x 2.5" deep. Stock number 34125.
