Immaculate Victorian Walnut Stationary Box
An immaculate Victorian figured walnut dome topped stationary box with brass bound exterior and original fitted interior c.1880. Figured walnut veneered exterior with domed hinged top, the lid and front of the box with brass fretwork and engraved bindings returning around the sides. The lid opening to reveal an original fitted interior with divisions to hold the paper, letters and envelopes, with a pen tray to the front. Superb quality and condition and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 8.5" wide x 4.5" deep x 6" high. Stock number 41138.
