An immaculate Edwardian solid figured mahogany book trough with shelf to the top and cross stretcher to the base c.1900. Figured timber top shelf over the four section base, with the base tilt...ed for holding the books at an easily accessible angle. Decorative X framed sides, moulded cabriole legs with pad feet to the ends; supporting turned cross sat in between. Superb quality and condition with no damage or fading, presented in immaculate original condition with a deep shine. Measures 36" long x 15.5" deep x 33" high. Stock number 39788.
