A fine quality and difficult to find solid silver engine turned cased pocket barometer with silvered scale, retailed by Harrods and hallmarked London 1925. The silver case with engine turned f...inish to the slightly domed back, two rows of engine turning to the rounded sides to aid bezel movement when marking the pressure reading. Bevelled edge glass to the front with marker to the outer edge. The two piece silvered dial with weather predictions along with Harrods Ltd London to the centre. The outer dial edge with feet above sea level markings; which can be read by using the marker. Silver hanging loop to the top, bears the makers mark for London watch and barometer case maker Albert Thomas Oliver along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Fully serviced and working and presented in good dent free condition with a deep shine. Measures 2" diameter x 0.5" deep x 3" high including hanging loop. Stock number 41098.
