A quality Georgian Thames valley yew wood Windsor chair with crinoline stretcher and bullseye to the back splat c.1820. Moulded figured ash bell shaped seat with lined edge. Bent yew wood back and ...arms with matching bent wood arm supports to the front of the arms. Railed back with shaped centre splat, turned bullseye to the centre. Unusually, sat on matching turned yew legs with support crinoline stretcher. Superb colour and original patina throughout, no breaks or repairs, very sturdy and useable. Measures 23.5" wide x 18" deep x 40" high to top of chair back x 16" seat height. Stock number 40751.
