A George III period solid silver tea scoop with engraved decoration and turned bone handle, hallmarked Birmingham 1803. The spoon with curved back and risen sides forming a scoop. Decorated with a single tea leaf to the centre and punched boarder. Silver mount holding the tapering bone handle with rounded end. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Cox & Betteridge. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.5" long including handle x 1.25" wide at the scoop. Stock number 39623.
