Georgian Rush light
A George II hand forged rush light on the original turned elm foot c.1740. Ring turned elm foot supporting the hand forged iron stem above with twisted decoration. Scissor action nip to the top for holding the rush, swept arm for opening the scissor to the side with matching twisted decoration to the stem. Presented in excellent condition with a superb original patina. Measures 11" high x 3.75" diameter at the base. Stock number 39467.
