A top quality George V period walnut cased 12" English dial clock by Ingram Bros, Woodford Green, London c.1915. The superior quality walnut case with slim moulded dial surround, matching back box ...behind with side and base access doors. Cast brass bezel with glazed view window forming the door over the dial. The original painted dial with the Royal insignia for George V along with the makers name, Ingram Bros, a highly regarded maker with clocks recorded in the Royal Collection and noted suppliers to the British government. The Original single fusee movement with chain drive and anchor escapement, stamped GR V to the movement indicating a government supplied clock, previous service history attached to the side door dating back to 1928. Superior quality and presented in excellent condition with a deep shine and original patina, fully overhauled and working. Measures 12" dial x 15" diameter overall x 6" deep. Stock number 38781.
