A George V period solid silver purse with leather interior in mint condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1917. The small ladies purse fashioned in the style of a leather purse with bulbous bottom and sw...ept pleat to the centre. Clasp to the top and original matching hanging chain with finger loop to the centre. The hinged purse opening to reveal an original tan leather interior with divisions for holding coins or small notes. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Edwin Joseph Houlston along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3" wide at the widest point x 1" deep x 2" high. Stock number 42079.
