George V Silver Photo Frame
A quality George V period solid silver photo frame with swept arched top and embossed edges, hallmarked Birmingham 1916. The broad solid silver surround with swept arched top, the inner and outer edges embossed with a chain design decoration, small stylised flowers to the centre of each link. The silver face returning around the sides to meet the black leather bound rear with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Henry Matthews along with clear hallmarks. Presented in superb original condition with a deep shine. Takes photograph 5.5" x 3.75". ...Measures overall 5.25" wide x 7.25" high. Stock number 40740.
