George V Silver Photo Frame
A George V period solid silver portrait photo frame with decorative embossed flower design decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1917. The solid silver front with swept arched top and slightly tapering sides, embossed with an inner row of flowers around the photo frame window. A complementing repeat design running around the outer edge of the frame, mounted on a polished solid oak back with sturdy easel stand. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Boots Pure Drug Co, and presented in immaculate condition with clear hallmarks and a deep shine.... Takes photograph 6" x 8". Measures overall 8.25" wide x 10" high. Stock number 40488.
