George V Silver Beaded Border Photo Frame
A George V period solid silver embossed beaded border photo frame, hallmarked Sheffield 1916. The slightly concave solid silver front with rounded corners and decorative beaded border to the outer edge, with matching decoration to the picture window edge. The silver face returning around the sides to meet the solid oak back with sturdy easel stand; can be displayed in portrait or landscape positions. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded Sheffield silversmiths James Deakin along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Takes photograph 3....5" x 5.5". Measures overall 5" wide x 7" high. Stock number 41607.
