An immaculate George V period solid silver engine turned case pop open travel clock, hallmarked Birmingham 1935. The square case with rounded sides and corners for comfort in the pocket, matching engine turned finish to both sides. Hinged crescent shaped hanging loop to the top with engraved release button for popping open (see video). Opens, and the internal watch pops up. Square silvered dial with Arabic numbers decorated with gilt and subsidiary seconds dial below set behind a convex glass. Bears the makers mark for travel clock makers SSM. Immaculate gilt lined interior, and presented in f...ull working order with a deep shine. Case measures 1.75 high including handle x 1.5" wide x 0.4" deep when closed. Clock face 1" square.
