George V Chester Silver Mug
A heavy quality George V period solid Chester silver mug with acanthus leaf boarder, hallmarked Chester 1934. Polished sides with reeded rim and a cast silver acanthus leaf design boarder running continuously around the base, small rim below forming the foot. Handle set to the side with decoration to match the boarder. Bears the makers mark for Chester silversmiths Adie Bros along with clear hallmarks and the retailers name John Bagshaw & Sons, Liverpool. Superb quality and condition, presented in immaculate unused condition. Measures 3.5" high x 2.75" diameter x 4.25" wide includi...ng handle. Stock number 40163.
