A late George III period yew wood low back Windsor chair with fretted centre splat crinoline stretcher c.1820. Bent yew wood back and arm support with fretted centre splat and railed back. Turned yew arm supports to the front edge and moulded seat with lined edge; matching turned yew legs supported by a crinoline stretcher. Superb colour and original patina with no breaks or repairs, very sturdy and useable. Measures 24" wide x 18" deep x 36" to top of chair back x 18" seat height. Stock number 42156.
