George III Wing Back Arm Chair
A George III period wing back arm chair sat on reeded mahogany legs, reupholstered to a high standard in Abraham Moon pure wool fabric c.1810. The sturdy and well shaped frame with broad wings and arched top to the slightly reclined back. Rolled over arms and sprung seat with loose feather filled seat cushion. Moulded reeded design front legs and splayed legs to the rear supported by a H stretcher; sat on the original small brass castors. Reupholstered to a high standard in Abraham Moon pure wool fabric in a neutral oatmeal herringbone design with piped edges and a new reversible seat cushi...on. Very comfortable and useable. Presented in excellent condition with a rich patina to the woodwork. Measures 44" high at the chair back x 31" wide x 32" deep x 21" seat height. Stock number 38783.
