George III Silver Flensing Knife Case and Knives
A rare George III period flensing knife case with original tortoise shell knifes, hallmarked Birmingham 1817. Slightly tappering form with hinged opening top. Decorative engraving with oval panel for the owners initials. Opening to reveal a twin division interior holding the two original tortoise shell handled knifes with steel blades. Presented in good used condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.5" long x 1.25" max width x 0.25" deep. Stock number 37733.
