A fine quality George III period solid silver cheese scoop, hallmarked Birmingham 1784. The handle with slender stem and shaped end, narrow long scoop to the end with rat tail running into the handle ...at the rear. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Samuel Pemberton. Unusually small and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.5" long x 0.5" wide at the scoop x 0.6" wide at the handle top. Stock number 38638.
