A superb and substantial George III period oak country made refectory style table with wonderful colour and original patina c.1770. The thick (2") two plank figured oak hand cut top with clipped corners, wonderful colour and patina. Moulded edge top rail below with two large drawers to one side. Canted corners to the square cut legs supported by a H stretcher. The top overlapping at the ends to allow seating and good knee room to the sides, seats 6 - 8 people. Presented in excellent original condition with a superb original patina, very sturdy and useable. Measures 81" long x 32.5" wide x 3...0" high. Stock number 38766.
