A country made George III period figured oak deed box with working lock and key and wonderful patina c.1760. Single plank top with moulded edge below and matching moulding to the planked sides. Mou...lded base apron forming the foot and working steel lock with period key. The hinged top opening to reveal a clean interior with figured oak base. Presented in excellent condition with a derp colour and superb original patina. Measures 18" wide x 12" deep x 10" high. Stock number 41038.
