George III Oak Country House Candle Box
A George III period oak candle box with painted decoration depicting a Georgian town house c.1810. The simple country made solid oak box with tenon joints and shaped upright to the back with carrying or hanging loop. Sloping hinged lid, opens to reveal a clean interior. The exterior later painted to depict a Georgian town house with superb and charming detail. Presented in excellent condition with a rich polish. Measures 14" wide x 8.5" deep x 11" high to top of the back. Stock number 38201.
