A stylish small proportioned George III North Lancashire oak chest of drawers with reeded quarter columns and original fretted bracket feet c.1760. The planked top with quarter sawn oak crossbanding and moulded edge sat over four graduated drawers with crossbanding to match the top and moulded edges. Original decorative brass fittings and matching lock escutcheons. Quarter columns set to the front corners and moulded plinth to the base, original fret work bracket feet below, the style typical of North Lancashire. Superb quality and presented in original condition with a rich colour and... original patina. Measures 33.5" wide x 21.5" deep x 36" high. Stock number 41552.
