The fine quality figured mahogany case with book matched veneers to the door flanked by reeded quarter columns. Reeded pillars to the hood with swan neck pediment above, lacquered and gilded infill panels below. Canted corners to the base with clipped corner panel vento match the door. Superb brass and silvered dial with moon phases to the arch, concentric calendar to the inside of the chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial. Cross hatched desig...n engraved dial centre typical of the Liverpool area. The fully restored and working 8 day movement with anchor escapement and bell striking on the hour.
