George III Inlaid Oak Candle Box
A George III figured oak candle box with inlaid lid and original polish c.1770. Figured oak construction with moulded edge to the top, the lid sliding in runners and pulling out to the side. Superb inlaid decoration to the lid with fruitwood flower to the centre and box wood strung edges. Original colour and polish, ideal for a variety of uses. Measures 12.5" long x 6.5" wide x 4.5" high. Stock number 40135.
