George III Cottage Longcase Clock By Will Snow Of Padside
A small proportioned George III oak cased cottage longcase clock by sought after maker Will Snow of Padside near Patley Bridge C.1780. Original painted 'strawberry blossom' dial with date aperture and original steel hands to the skeletonised 30 hour bell striking movement, typical of this Yorkshire maker. Sat in the original small proportioned simple oak case with moulded cornice to the hood and slim trunk with shaped top door. Sat on original foot. Fully overhauled movement. 12 months guarantee. Measures 76" tall. 21" wide at cornice of hood x 10" deep at hood.
