George III 6.7oz Silver Mug by Peter and Ann Bateman
A fine quality George III period solid silver mug by highly regarded and collected makers Peter & Ann Bateman weighing in at over 6.7 troy oz, hallmarked London 1799. The silver vessel with bellied base and flared rim, stepped flared foot to the base. Scrole design handle with hand chased feathered decoration to the top. Bears the makers mark for Peter & Ann Bateman along with crisp hallmarks, 6.7 troy oz. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 3" diameter x 4.25" wide inc handle x 4" high. Stock number 42203.
