George II Walnut Kneehole Desk

A George II walnut kneehole desk with herringbone crossbanding and period brass fittings c.1730. Quarter veneered figured walnut top with herringbone crossbanding and moulded edge. Long top drawer below with three small drawers set to each side, each with burr cut veneers and herringbone crossbanding. Kneehole to the centre with small drawer to the top forming an apron. Cupboard to the centre which pulls forward flush with the drawers, moulded plinth to the base with original bracket feet below. Oak lined drawers, original back boards and decorative brass fittings.
