A small proportioned George II period red walnut demi lune fold over gaming table with pockets to the interior and storage compartment c.1750. Solid figured red walnut construction, the polished half round top sat over a deep apron with moulded pad foot legs to the sides and centre. The rear internal leg opening out with gate action to support the fold over surface; this surface forming a circular gaming table with pockets to the four corners of the surface to hold coins or counters. The lower leaf lifts to access the storage compartment, original lock to the front with original e...scutcheon and key.
