George II Period Oak Cottage Longcase Clock

A George II period oak cased cottage longcase clock C.1730. Made by Phillip Aveneal of Farnham. Single pointer to the brass engraved dial. Date aperture to the centre. Inner chapter ring and half hour markers. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Attached pillars to the moulded cornice hood. Simple solid oak case with toggle locking bar to the interior for the hood. Standing on bracket feet. Full working order. Small proportions, measures 19.5" wide x 11" deep x 79" high. Stock number 35732.
