George II Oak Cabriole Leg Dresser
A stylish George II period oak three drawer cabriole leg dresser of shallow proportions in superb original condition c.1740. Planked figured oak top with deep moulded edge below, three drawers with cock beaded edges and brass fittings. Moulded waist rail to the front and original fretted apron below with panelled sides. Sat on cabriole legs with pad feet to the ends, matching legs to the rear. Shallow proportioned and presented in superb original unrestored condition with a rich colour and original patina. Measures 75" long x 15" deep x 31" high. Stock number 39888.
