George II Hook & Spike Wall Clock
A George II brass and silvered dial 'Hook & Spike' wall clock.c.1740. Engraved centre and gilded spandrels to the corners of the 10" dial. Bird cage type movement with single pointer, bell striking to the hour. Made by William Bates of Lutterworth(Leicestershire). Full working order. Measures 10" square x 7"deep x 49"long to the tip of the pendulum.
