George I Walnut Chest of Drawers
A fine George I period walnut chest of drawers with axe drop fittings and bun feet c.1720. The moulded edge quarter veneered figured walnut top crossbanded to the edge and strung with fruitwood. Sat over a two over three drawer formation, the drawers with fruitwood strung edges to match the top. Sat on a moulded edge broad plinth with stylish bun feet to the base. Figured walnut veneered sides. Decorative brass axe drop fittings and matching escutcheons. Excellent rich colour and deep polish. Measures 39" wide x 22.5" deep x 34.5" high. Stock number 37075.
