A George I style solid oak box stool with carved decoration and lifting lid C.1890. Carved frieze to the front with slightly splayed bobbin turned legs supported by a base stretcher. Moulded edge to t...he hinged top lifting to reveal an internal storage compartment. Original polish and patina, very sturdy and useable. Measures 18" long x 11" deep x 17" high. Stock number 34588.
