An Impressive George I period walnut chest on stand c.1720. Two over three drawers with figured book matched veneers and boxwood stringing. Moulded cornice and reeded canted corners. Matching drawer to the stand with scalloped apron and shell mounted cabriole legs. Cross banded sides. Good rich colour and polish.Measures 64.5" tall. x 40.5" wide. x 22" max depth. SN 31247.
