A George I oak three panel coffer with fielded panels, and wonderful original colour and patina c.1720. Moulded edge frame construction with pegged joints throughout, fielded panels to the lid, fro...nt and sides, plain panels to the rear. The hinged lid with original hook and eye hinges, clean interior with planked base. Superb original mellow colour and rich patina. Presented in excellent original unrestored condition. Measures 38" wide x 17" deep x 20" high. Stock number 39996.
