A George I period two panel coffer with superb original patina c.1720. The hinged lid with two panel stop moulded frame, carved top rail with decorative lunettes and initial set to the centre, stop moulded frame and two panels to match the top. Panelled sides and back, full length stiles. Opens to reveal a clean interior with original boarded base. Superb original colour and patina, presented in excellent original condition. Measures 44.5" wide x 19.5" deep x 23" high. Stock number 37645.
