Fraser of Preston Fusee Wall Clock
A Victorian ebonised case 8 day single fusee English dial clock with original painted dial by Fraser of Preston; fully serviced and working c.1885. The superior quality case with moulded surround to the dial, matching back box with access door to the base and to the side. Cast polished brass bezel with quarter plate glass sat over the original painted dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. The eight day single fusee movement with shaped plates and anchor escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in excellent original condition with a deep shine and original patina.... Measures 15.5" diameter x 12" dial x 6.5" deep. Stock number 39774.
